B2B commerce is not a larger retail store. UAE wholesalers and distributors need account relationships, negotiated pricing, product specifications, RFQs and internal approvals to work together without slowing sales.
Map the commercial rules first
Document customer groups, currencies, VAT treatment, price lists, credit terms, minimum quantities, territories and sales ownership. These rules determine the data model and permissions more than the storefront theme does.
Support buying and quotation journeys
Some customers are ready to order; others need a specification, stock confirmation or negotiated quote. Let buyers move between catalogue, enquiry, RFQ, quotation and reorder paths without re-entering the same information.
Integrate the operating system
Connect inventory, ERP, CRM, payments, documents and notifications where they create reliable ownership. Integration should remove duplicate work and surface exceptions, not hide broken processes behind automation.
Quick implementation checklist
